"I left the retreat feeling more at peace than at any other time, I can remember, in my life.  Some seemingly simple fears disappeared such as my dislike of wind and my fear of swimming in a large body of water.  Before this retreat I resisted the feeling of the wind on my skin.  During the retreat, I experienced the wind as a gentle clearing and fine tuning of my body. I also learned to relax into the ocean water letting it support me and move me around.  It was great fun to do so and experience the water supporting me.
Overall, I'd say I let go a lot of my resistance to my fears.  The result is peace.
